Full-Stack Engineer

As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Scoutible, you will help define the company’s technical roadmap, alongside an ambitious, all-star team who has each other’s backs. Your role will primarily involve hands-on coding and development of our enterprise SaaS web platform and analytics infrastructure. As the team grows, technical leadership could become a focus as well. The ideal candidate has expert knowledge of modern web technologies and frameworks, and has ample experience on engineering teams shipping customer-facing software products.


  • 3+ years of web/software experience

  • 2+ years experience developing enterprise-scale applications

  • Fluency or proficiency with these languages and frameworks:

    • Python, Javascript ES6, node.js, React, Redux, Webpack, GCP, Docker, Redis, Data Warehouse(e.g. Bigquery, Redshift)

What you'll be doing:

  • Iterating Scoutible's enterprise SaaS web platform, enabling enterprises to effortlessly utilize our game’s data and insights to make hiring decisions with unprecedented accuracy

  • Helping to execute the technical roadmap for Scoutible's products and apps

  • Enhancing the Scoutible data pipeline, implementing advanced caching solutions, building intensive data analysis tools for our Enterprise Application, enhancing our CI/CD pipeline, and managing both server and serverless infrastructure

  • Working directly with our product, game and design leads to understand customer pain points, come up with solutions, and then prototype, iterate, and launch quickly.

About you:

  • You've got a successful track record of building beautiful, customer-facing web applications and backend infrastructure to support them

  • You are able to work independently but will ask for help when needed

  • You have a deep understanding of how web pages are served and deployed from the back-end, front-end, and databases while feeling comfortable jumping into either side of the stack

  • Good communication skills; you're able to break down concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences

  • Experience or interest in data engineering projects is a big plus (but not required)

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform or AWS is a plus (not required)

  • Experience with unit and integration testing

  • Enjoy learning about video games, big data, data science, and/or AI
